The aim of this course is to broaden the knowledge of cancer control professionals about the need for radiotherapy as an integral part of cancer care. This course may be useful for cancer advocates and policy makers who wish to make the case for implementing or upgrading radiotherapy services in their localities.

The course is delivered by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), a leading international organisation that specialises in ensuring scientific and technical co-operation in the nuclear field, which inlcudes safe delivery of and access to radiotherapy treatment for cancer patients around the world.  

This courses consists of 5 modules which cover a number of topics, guiding learners from an introduction to radiotherapy through to understanding the resources and actions necessary to integrate radiotherapy services into a health system.
